As a universe primarily depicted in the movies, this one features dvds as well as comics. At the moment, it’s simple enough that this reading/viewing order is barely needed, but since it’s only going to get more complex – and since release order already fails to match actual chronology – I thought this might prove useful.

- comic set before and in parallel to the movie, but best read after.
- Iron Man

- Iron Man 2: Public Identity
- Tie-in comic occuring between the two Iron Man films.
- Iron Man 2
- The film on DVD.
- The Incredible Hulk
- The film on DVD. According to the Director’s Commentary on Iron Man 2, Tony Stark’s appearance in this film is his third appearance, chronologically.
- Thor
- The film on DVD. Dialogue in the film clearly places it after both Iron Man 2 and The Incredible Hulk.
