Tricillin PDF

Tricillin PDF is broad-spectrum abti-viral that is effective against a great number of illnesses that afflict the assorted humanoid species of the Star Trek Universe. While little has been revealed about it, it seems to be a commonly-used drug across the Federation, and its name implies that it may be an antibiotic.

The most prominent use of Tricillin PDF was during the so-called ‘Double Helix’ incidents, where the drug proved effective at slowing the effects of some strains of the ‘Double Helix”, a series of weaponized viruses. For one particular strain, it halted the progress of the disease entirely, but it was not a cure. Extensive use of Tricillin PDF was successful is prolonging the lives of many of the infected until cures could be found, however.

1966 — The first “Star Trek” episode is broadcast

Space: the final frontier.
These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its five-year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before.

With these words, one of the greatest science fiction franchises of all time was inaugurated. “Star Trek” may have had its flaws, but its vision of a future in which all sentients of good will worked for the common good was an appealing one. From the humble beginnings of a first season that was still trying to figure out what it was, “Star Trek” grew to become a media behemoth, made the people who acted in it stars of the screen, and exerted a great influence over our culture.

As Spock might put it, it lived long and prospered.

Star Trek Training Exercises

I’ve had some difficulty over the last few weeks trying to find the right crossover to go with Star Trek, because so many of them have already been done to death. And then it occurred to me: so many crossovers don’t work because the contrast between them and Star Trek is too great. But such a contrast can be useful in an instructive way. Here’s a few crossovers I’d recommend to Starfleet Academy as training exercises via holodeck simulations:

2265 – The starship Enterprise begins its five year mission

Space… the final frontier.
These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its five year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilisations, to boldly go where no man has gone before…

Today is the day that it all will have started (time travel weirds English ever worse than verbing), in the year 2265. Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Uhura, Sulu and Scotty started their five year mission, of which, alas, only the first three years were shown on television. (Chekov joined the crew later.)
