Especially with regard to prefixes, suffixes and infixes. There are so many words that exist in only one form where there should be more. Prefixes are the worst offenders in this regard – a lot of words exist only with a prefix form, where they should logically possess a non-prefixed form as well.

So, don’t tell me that English isn’t logical – I’m keenly aware of that fact, and indeed, enjoy it on a daily basis. I’m just saying. English can be logical, and there’s a huge harvest of fun new words just waiting to be picked up.
