I like your plan, Frank.

Okay, give Peet his marching orders, and I’ll tell Cornelius the plan.

I’m with Billy on this one, but I’ve got an idea. Peet just started today, and I’m not ready for him yet. Why don’t we put him on as an independent contractor with a brief to review this? It beats having him sit around doing nothing, and Hall will have a harder time making her case. And that’s assuming there’s anything to it in the first place.

Told ya.

For what it’s worth, there’s nothing to this. Is that good enough, or do you need something more formal in case it goes to court?

Hall Biotique project

Okay, I’ve just got word from Cornelius that Katheryne Hall has been not to delicately threatening legal action because she regards our work as sub-standard. (Looks like your source was right on the money, Billy.) I don’t think there’s anything to this, but I need your assurance for form’s sake, okay?

On a scale of 1 to 10? Dubious and unreliable. But if past experience is anything to go by, the more outlandish the gossip, the more likely it is to be true.

Oh great, more good news.

How reliable is your source?

Looks like I spoke to soon about Hall Biotique – my mate there says that Hall herself is displeased with the work. Not sure how much faith to place in that, but thought I ought to warn you just in case – you may be hearing from them in the next little while.

Billy,

Thanks for that. And thanks for not making me chase you for it, too.
