Perhaps more indicative of the insanity of the Joker than anything else about him, Smilex is a deadly poison that causes horrific facial deformations, usually in form of a rictus grin.
TimeSerum is derived from the venom of a now-extinct sub-species of the Gaboon Viper. Its name is something of a misnomer, as it enables one to travel through time only by that laziest of methods, suspended animation. There’s little to say about Toxin X-7 that hasn’t already been covered right here. It’s a mutagen that transforms those exposed to it into brain-devouring zombies.

So strong, in fact, that they grant the user a certain amount of superpowers – including telekinesis, teleportation, intangebility, reversal of personal gravity and super-speed – while they last. A standard dose lasts a short time – an hour or so – and reportedly, the experience is quite a rush. Despite the name, there is in fact only one X-Drug, although it is often tailored to the DNA of the user for maximum effectiveness. |
