Okay, so work got further on top of me than I intended. I wasn’t expecting to lose the better part of two months. But now I’m on top of work, and back here again. Here’s what you may have missed in the interregnum – starting tomorrow, I’ll try to get back in front again, although for the time being, only 3 posts a day, not 5. I kinda flaked out on the first week, and when I got back to the site, well, as you can probably see, I was too busy remodelling to do any writing of posts. Still, I like what I’ve done here, and I have more plans too. First off, as you’ll probably notice below, is a concerted effort to bring the various Trade Paperback Timelines into a unified format, and get them a lot more up to date. They’re the most popular feature on the site, and they’re going to be getting attention commensurate with that. That said, starting tomorrow, normal blog posting will resume, with a few surprises Okay, so much for staying ahead. Alas, technical issues (read: no working computer) kept me offline for quite a while. Whether it’s good or bad that I had so much content advanced scheduled is for you to decide. That was a fun week. I just hope that I can manage to stay ahead of the holiday season. Once again, my apologies for this fortnight being mostly MIA. Family issues took precedence, but I’m back now. This week for a little uneven in terms of my experience writing the blog – a couple of late nights in getting stuff ready, but on the other hand, some good stuff came out of that (I was particularly pleased with this week’s Preventing Doctor Armageddon). Hope you enjoyed it. Another week, and I gotta admit, I’m still having trouble figuring out what the Political column is going to be (and figuring out a good crossover for Star Trek – you try coming up with one that hasn’t already been done to death). But it’s nice to be back in the swing of working on the site, especially updating the Trade Paperback Timelines. Of all the ill-timed illnesses… still, serves as a nice antidote to hubris, I suppose. This week is missing a few posts because I was in no fit condition to write them. Sorry about that, folks. Continue reading Update: Week ending November 14, 2011 Well, I hope you’ve enjoyed the last week or so. There have been a couple of teething problems, but for the most part, I’ve been quite happy with the blog. Not so happy that I can’t see more changes I want to make, though. Starting from tomorrow, there will be some changes made to the fiction side of this blog: of the six ongoing stories, five of them are becoming weekly, and The Ducal Line is going daily. Fingers crossed that this works, but I’ve made sure that I’ve got a few posts ahead on everything, so I think it’ll be okay.
